Genesis: Painting

I began working on some ideas for this painting a while ago. Then a friend of mine asked me to do a painting for him, and this one made sense to do. I'll be uploading the process of this painting "vom Anfang bis zum Ende" [from start to finish].

Here's one of the preliminary sketches; it's based off of a piece I did for an art show last year that is pictured below. For this new painting I'm going to flip around the nude and make the room slightly more Baroque, also better define the flames outside the window.
