Anyway, here's the pics:
I started this painting to honor that wonderful beverage that brings me to life each morning, coffee! I realized this morning how much that stuff actually helps me wake up. I got up late and didn't have time to make any and I was like a zombie for the rest of the morning. Not cool.
So there you have it. I really like how the texture of the canvas comes through. It reminds me of the bags the whole coffee beans come in. The colors could all be found in mugs of coffee(depending on how awake you are when you look at it), and they give the piece an intensity that mirrors the beverage that inspires it.
